I also met Father Ed during the Charasmatic Renewal at Bobby Hackett’s Restaurant, Pembroke in the early 80’s at a Bible Study with Jim Purtell. Later we met at St Mary’s in Hanover and I was a parishioner at Saint Ann’s by the Sea in Marshfield. I still miss his homilies!

I had the pleasure of knowing Father Ed Serena during the Charismatic movement, at Brighton’s Cenacle, during the 1970’s.

Delighted Ed became a priest to serve God’s people for many years – using the fine spiritual gifts God has given – with a warm sense of humor – as evident by the superb Homily.
